At Vatsal Labs, we prioritize your privacy. This policy applies to the following browser extensions developed by us:

1. Data Collection & Usage

We believe in data minimization. Our extensions operate under two categories:

(Includes: RecordThatChromeTab, My YT Blocker, Full Page Screen Capture Tool, QuickURLCopy)

No Data Transmission: These extensions function entirely on your device. No data is sent to Vatsal Labs or any third-party servers.
Local Storage: Preferences (such as your block lists in "My YT Blocker") are stored locally within your browser's storage and are not accessible by us.

(Includes: SideGem 2, Gemini Page Summarizer)

AI Processing: To provide summarization and AI assistance, the text content of the page you are viewing or the query you type is sent to the Google Gemini API for processing.
Transient Data: Vatsal Labs does not store, log, or sell this data. The data is used solely to generate the response and is discarded immediately after the request is fulfilled.

We request only the minimum permissions necessary for the extensions to function:

activeTab / tabs: Required to capture the screen (for recording tools) or read page content (for summarization).
storage: Used to save your user settings locally.
scripting: Used to inject functionality (like the sidebar) into the current page.

Our AI extensions utilize models provided by Google (Gemini). Use of these features is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
